PTAC needs donated fire fighting and emergency response appliances (ex brigades) to protect the community from bush fires and to deal with rescues and emergencies

Fire fighting and emergency rescues are not a choice - they are a necessary part of living in a remote community. Unfortunately no State or Commonwealth funding agency will provide the funds for appliances so we can protect community infrastructure adequately, including housing and essential service buildings like our clinic and school.

We are seeking offers from Bush and Metro fire brigades and emergency response agencies to donate surplus appliances and equipment.
