Following its successful application to the Commonwealth's Building Better Region's Fund (BBRF) Community Investment Stream, PTAC is seeking costed proposals (inclusive of all fees, travel, accommodation and disbursements) to deliver non-accredited on-the-job Tour Guiding Skills Training with Indigenous Tour Guides at Ilkurlka between June and August 2018.

Emphasis is on field-based learning and simulated tours at Ilkurlka to equip our guides with the skills and learning materials needed to prepare guides for the cultural tours as a sustainable social enterprise. Individual Development Plans are also needed to capture the guides personal and professional development aspirations.
Respondents should call to discuss the budget for the proposal, along with flight schedules and travel options. Note: Aboriginal Tour Guides are unpaid for training and only get paid while conducting tours with paying customers. RTOs need not apply as this is non-accredited skills development.
Please lodge your proposal by COB Friday 11 May 2018. Emailed proposals are preferred with a brief capability statement. Proposals will be assessed on merit and the successful proponent will be notified by 18th May for an anticipated start date as soon as possible before 28 May 2018.
