Community Administration and Induction Support

Work for the Dole Activity

The main aim of this project is to assist job seekers to support office staff and become work ready. This will assist them in transitioning to employment in community administration. Job seekers who successfully engage in this activity will have the skills and experience needed to take up entry level positions in community administration.  


Tasks include:  

  • answering phone calls, assisting clients with enquiries, sending/receiving faxes, filing documents, scanning/copying documents, application processing, drafting community notices & flyers; 

  • mentoring for new staff, visitors or contractors and assisting staff to learn Pitjantjatjara and interpret language cross-culturally; 

  • assist the CDP program with referring job seekers and engaging with them to attend appointments; 

  • setting up meetings and other tasks as required.
